Organization overview

Mello Zone Furry Community is an online home for adult furries, pups, LGBTQ+ adults and allies, creators, gamers and neighboring-fandom supporters. Its Discord, VRChat and Telegram spaces connect conversation, creativity and shared interests within a safe-for-work community model. Participation is grounded in consent, privacy, respect for creators and accountable moderation—not a requirement to look, sound or create a certain way.

Mission: Create a home where adults can build friendships, express themselves safely, contribute creatively and experience belonging without an audition. Read the community's story and values.
Community model: 18+ membership, SFW shared spaces. Adult-only does not mean adult-content-focused; the community standards define the boundaries.

Our new Furry Convention Data Hub extends the journal's convention research into a small public dataset with primary sources, methodology and reusable downloads.

Editorial operation

The Mello Zone Editorial Team publishes community guidance, creator coverage, VRChat reporting and convention analysis. The editorial policy sets expectations for attribution, sourcing, corrections, conflicts and accountable use of assistance. Community ownership is not evidence of independent endorsement.

The Mello Zone Journal is the current public reporting archive. The website changelog records site releases and verification limits. There is not a separate press-release archive at launch; journal coverage and website release notes should not be described as third-party press coverage.

The Safety Center, transparency statement and privacy policy describe participation boundaries, human review and privacy practices. Private reports, member identities and moderation evidence are not press assets or public statistics.
