How Status Changes
Concept means an idea is being evaluated. Planning identifies a problem and next decision. Live requires a public result that people can use or verify.
Community builds
Projects move from an idea to an accountable public outcome.
Community Projects tracks technical experiments, media work, event tools, VRChat builds, documentation, and other collaborative efforts with a clear owner and purpose. It is not a list of vague promises or a place to claim another member's unfinished work.
Start with a brief
A useful project states the problem, intended audience, scope, owner, contributors, dependencies, public status, and next milestone. Safety, accessibility, privacy, licensing, and creator permission should be considered before public release rather than after harm occurs.
Make contribution legible
Contributors should know what help is requested, where work is coordinated, how credit will appear, and whether assets or code have reuse restrictions. Access to private systems is granted separately from interest in a public project.
Close the loop
Completed work should record an outcome, responsible maintainer, release destination, and known limitations. Paused or retired projects should say so plainly instead of presenting an old concept as an active community service.
