Creator participation standards

Share boldly. Credit clearly. Respect boundaries.

Creator participation works best when promotion, consent, attribution, commissions, and collaboration expectations are easy to understand.

    Safety

    Plagiarism & AI

Do not claim another person's work as your own or distribute creator content through AI systems without consent.

Creator participation

Permission is specific, and credit travels with the work.

Creator guidelines protect artists, streamers, musicians, writers, editors, avatar makers, photographers, and event hosts while keeping discovery practical. Public availability does not automatically grant permission to repost, edit, train on, merchandise, or redistribute someone else's work.

Define the permission

Before featuring work, confirm the asset, destination, format, duration, attribution, and whether edits or excerpts are allowed. Permission for one profile or event does not silently extend to unrelated campaigns, downloads, advertising, or future uses.

Make attribution useful

Credit should identify the creator, the type of work, and an approved public destination. Keep watermarks and signatures intact, avoid implying sponsorship, and correct a missing or inaccurate credit promptly when the creator raises it.

Respect collaboration boundaries

Use designated promotion spaces, state whether a request is paid or unpaid, and accept a clear no without pressure. Commissions, recordings, streams, event appearances, and AI-related uses need expectations that every participant understands before work begins.

Put the guidelines to work

Move from policy to a clear creator action.
