## Platform model

- MelloAuth: The branded member authentication layer for Mello Zone. It is implemented through Supabase Auth with Discord OAuth, secure email links, and optional OpenID/SSO configuration through `PUBLIC_MELLOAUTH_SSO_DOMAIN`.
- Member hub: Authenticated members can manage private settings, complete onboarding, create opt-in Mello Cards, view announcements, use member messaging, and access official links.
- Staff console: Staff-only area for moderator/admin accounts. It is not indexable and is used for bulletins, safety watches, issue tracking, moderation follow-up, and newsroom submission review.
- Mello Cards: Public profiles are opt-in, staff-reviewed, consent-based, and designed around interests, creator roles, public links, and safe discovery rather than popularity ranking.
- Newsroom: Mello Zone supports original Markdown articles and curated external RSS/news feed summaries. Staff article submissions are reviewed before becoming public static articles.
